Constructed in 1750, Lal Niwas haveli at Phalodi is a major attraction. The literal meaning of Lal Niwas is Red Residence. It was gracefully built in red sandstone with charming interiors. The walls are beautifully decorated showing a great deal of expertise of the craftsmen of that era. The stunning chandeliers perforce make your eyes rise towards the ceiling. It was once the residence of the royal family.

You can reach Phalodi from the nearest Jodhpur airport which is at a distance of 135 km from the village. It is well connected with Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur by train.
